The White House is said to be eying Budapest as the location for new peace negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the U.S. Administration sources told Politico Tuesday that the Secret Service is preparing for a trilateral summit in Hungary, which is led by Trump ally Viktor Orban.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt would neither confirm nor deny the report. It’s still not clear that the summit will even take place. Russia’s foreign minister said on state-run TV Tuesday that Moscow hasn’t ruled out talks with Ukraine, but insisted that the process would unfold “gradually.”
