Over two weeks after the Ross Fire began in Jack and Palo Pinto Counties officials say they are now getting an idea of the damage left behind.

Texas A&M Forest Service confirmed the fire has burned over 90-thousand acres and is now 76-percent contained, making it the 15th-largest wildfire in Texas based on historical records. Officials confirm 167 structures were destroyed, including 18 homes.

Officials with Texas A&M Forest Service confirmed the Ross Fire was human-caused. The Forest Service told WFAA 8 investigators believe the fire most likely started along a roadway and was associated with equipment.
