The San Antonio ISD is moving ahead with the state-endorsed Bluebonnet Learning curriculum. The school board voted 6-1 Monday to adopt the instructional program for K-5th grade students.

Board members discussed launching the new curriculum at select schools in Monday’s meeting. Participating districts receive 60 dollars per student every year from the state to cover the cost of the instructional materials. The Texas Legislature enacted the system in 2023.
