By A South Carolina police officer is recovering after a shooting that officials say seemed to be a targeted attack against law enforcement. It happened yesterday in Greenville County.
Police say the officer was sitting in his patrol car when he was ambushed and shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital, treated and released. The Greenville Police Department says the suspect fled the scene but was chased by other officers and eventually killed in an exchange of gunfire.
