A Muslim parent is suing Texas for excluding Islamic schools from the state’s new school choice program.

The lawsuit names Comptroller Kelly Hancock, who says the decision is backed by the state Attorney General. He pointed to a recent designation of both CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.

The man who is suing is a recent immigrant from Morocco and his two kids now attend an Islamic school in Houston.
