A second suspect is in custody after a deadly hit-and-run involving a jet ski on Grapevine Lake over the weekend. Grapevine police arrested Maikel Perozo in Dallas on Tuesday for reportedly driving the suspect away from the scene.
Perozo reportedly crashed into two cars while fleeing, and is charged with an accident involving collision. Texas Game Wardens arrested Daikerlyn Gonzalez, reportedly the driver of the jet ski that hit and killed 18-year-old kayaker Ava Moore.
Gonzalez is charged with manslaughter. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says both suspects are illegal immigrants.
