By Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is leading Senator John Cornyn by nine-points in their upcoming Republican primary battle. That’s according to a survey released today by Texas Southern University.
Mark Jones, who ran the poll, says it also looked at the hypothetical general election matchup between Ken Paxton and democrat Colin Allred. If that were to happen, it suggests that Paxton is only a two-point favorite.
