South Texas First Responders Sent To Assist With Flood Recovery

Several South Texas first responders are helping with flood recovery efforts in the Texas Hill Country. The City of Pharr has reportedly sent an ambulance, four firefighters and a medical service chief to Kerrville to assist.

McAllen has sent three firefighters as part of the Task Force One response, while Edinburg has sent two. Brownsville also sent an ambulance and a crew to the area.

The La Joya Police Department is also collecting non-perishable food, bottled water and other items that will be sent to the area to help with relief efforts.
