South Texas Led State In Job Growth In January

A new report from the Texas Workforce Commission shows several South Texas communities led the state in job growth in January.

The Friday report indicates that Eagle Pass had the highest job growth rate during the month at nine-point-eight percent.

The Brownsville-Harlingen area was second overall at seven-point-two percent, followed by the McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area at six-point-nine percent.
