A suspect has been denied bond after his arrest on capital murder charges. Forty-three-year-old Alejandro Lopez of Rio Grande City was arraigned yesterday.

Investigators say Lopez helped move at least one body into a vehicle that was later found burned in Penitas. Two people were found dead after the vehicle was discovered on February 3rd. Four other suspects are facing charges in the case, including two who are also charged with capital murder.
