A suspected drunk driver is in custody after an accident that injured two Harris County deputies on Thursday.
The deputies were responding to an accident on the North Belt at Ella Boulevard when the suspect reportedly plowed into their patrol cars. Both deputies were hospitalized. One has already been released, and the other is in stable condition.
Wilfredo Arzola is charged with intoxication assault with serious bodily injury to a peace officer, and reckless aggravated assault with a deadly weapon to a peace officer.
