A Texas Democrat is in the running for every state and federal race on the ballot next year. The state Democratic Party claims it’s the first time in modern Texas history that either party has run a full slate of candidates. A total of 104 candidates are running for every congressional, state House, and state Senate seat on the 2026 ballot, along with all State Board of Education and judicial races. The full ballot is the work of a recruitment effort by the Texas Democratic Party, Texas Majority PAC, and past election losers Beto O’Rourke and Wendy Davis.
