President Trump is claiming that Michigan’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate hates Jewish people and hates Israel.

Trump gave an address Wednesday in Las Vegas, and called Abdul El-Sayed a “communist” and “a man of hate,” and predicted that the Democrat will lose the November election. El-Sayed defeated Congresswoman Haley Stevens in Tuesday’s Michigan primary.

In the midterms, El-Sayed will face Republican Mike Rogers, who is endorsed by Trump. Meanwhile today, a Republican primary is being held for the governor of Tennessee, where Trump has not endorsed a candidate in the race.
