The Trump Administration is reportedly considering a land swap with SpaceX. The New York Times reports that the company would give the federal government nearly 700 acres of land in Cameron County in exchange for 775 acres of land in the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge.

The land swap would reportedly allow the company to expand its rocket launch facility near Boca Chica Beach. A spokesperson for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said the deal would advance long-term wildlife conservation while helping to strengthen American innovation and infrastructure.
