President Trump is claiming former FBI director James Comey used a “mob term” meaning to kill someone in a social media post calling for his assassination. Comey surrendered Wednesday after he was charged for allegedly threatening Trump’s life.
Last year, he posted a photo of seashells on a beach arranged to form the numbers “86-47.” When Trump was asked by reporters Wednesday if he thought his life was in danger, he said, “based on what I’m seeing out there, yeah.” It’s the second time the Department of Justice has brought charges against Comey – a longtime Trump critic.
