Markets are reacting to President Trump’s announcement concerning the end of the Iran war and the re-opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump announced on Truth Social Sunday that the deal, described as the framework to end the war, was “now complete.” It’s expected to be formally signed on June 19th in Switzerland.

The news sent U.S. crude oil prices down five percent almost immediately. All three major indexes were climbing, too, ahead of the opening bell.
