Investigators say two women have died after a crash in Mercedes. The crash happened Tuesday near the intersection of FM-491 and Mile Nine Road.
A white Buick was reportedly trying to pass four cars when it crashed head-on into a blue Ford Maverick.
The driver of the Buick and a passenger in the Ford died, and two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
