Vice President JD Vance is suggesting Israel may scale down its attacks in Lebanon.
Talking to reporters Wednesday, Vance was asked about threats from Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz in response to Israeli strikes in Lebanon, and claimed he’s heard that Israel has offered to “check themselves a little bit in Lebanon” as the peace talks continue. Vance will be in Pakistan Friday to head up the peace talks with Iran.
