A judge has issued an arrest warrant after a Brownsville daycare worker skipped a court hearing.
The warrant for Sendy Ruiz was issued yesterday. Ruiz pleaded not guilty to a charge of injury to a child following the death of four-year-old Logan Urbina last year.
Ruiz was working at the Learning Club Preschool in Brownsville at the time of Urbina’s death. Ruiz is scheduled to go on trial on February 23rd.
