A group of 16 Venezuelan illegal immigrants face federal drug trafficking and weapons charges in Houston. The suspects are reportedly former members of Tren de Aragua who are now in a rival gang involved in a turf war in the Houston area.

The Justice Department says one of the men, Jose Briceno, was involved in a mass shooting in March that wounded six people at a sports bar on Hillcroft. Briceno is charged with aggravated assault through a mass shooting and unlawful possession of ammunition by an alien.
