Netanyahu Apologizes For Attack On Catholic Church In Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says every innocent life lost is a tragedy after an attack on the only Catholic Church in Gaza.

The strike was apparently made by a tank, killing three people and drawing a phone call and criticism from President Trump.

Netanyahu’s office issued an apology Thursday Pope Leo is also renewing the Vatican’s call for a ceasefire, with a statement noting the Pontiff is “deeply saddened to learn of the loss of life and injury.”
