The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley is getting a 150-thousand-dollar funding boost. The organization announced last week that it had been picked for an Impact Grant from the Maximus Foundation. The food bank will receive 50-thousand dollars a year for the next three years. The foundation said the food bank was selected because of its commitment to addressing food insecurity and nourishing communities.
