Camp Mystic officials said they are installing a new flood warning system. Mystic has allowed Cedar Park company River Sentry to install eight-foot aluminum towers designed to detect rising water upstream and down stream.

The installation comes after Texas lawmakers passed House Bill One. It requires camps to install and maintain an emergency system capable of alerting all campers and nearby residents of an emergency.
