An international criminal organization is being investigated for high-dollar home burglaries in the Houston area.
Officials say the South American Theft Group is suspected of committing more than 60 local residential burglaries.
Most recently, Houston police arrested a Chilean national accused of breaking into a home in West University Place late last month and making off with more than 500 thousand dollars in jewelry and watches.
