More than 30 state and federal races in Texas are headed to primary runoffs next month.

Candidates who failed to win more than half the votes in the March Republican and Democratic primaries will face off again in the May 26th runoff. Among them are Attorney General Ken Paxton and US Senator John Cornyn, who are contending for Cornyn’s seat.

Voters who voted in the GOP or Democratic primary can vote only in that same party’s runoffs. Early voting is from May 18th to the 22nd.
