By Texas has become the national hub for testing driverless big rigs. John Esparza, who heads the Texas Trucking Association, says there is a good reason why. He says there are plenty of roads to test on where there is no snow or ice. And, he says, this is good news for drivers. The autonomous trucks, he says, are safer than human drivers who need sleep and food to stay on track.
