By The new head of Texas Tech is ordering campuses to phase out academic programs that focus on sexual orientation and gender identity.
Chancellor Brandon Creighton says there needs to be a focus on training students for the jobs that are out there. His memo gives campus leaders until the middle of June to weed out programs. Students already enrolled can finish their degrees.
