Democratic and Republican super PACs are mounting dueling ad campaigns ahead of this fall’s elections in several south Texas congressional districts.

The Democrats’ House Majority PAC is budgeting 22 million dollars for ad buys targeting five districts. Two of them are vulnerable Democratic seats, and the other three are seats Republicans already hold or are expected to win after last year’s redistricting.

The GOP’s Congressional Leadership Fund plans to spend nearly 14 million dollars in two of the contested districts.
