A North Carolina woman is accused of plotting to murder congregants at a Texas synagogue. Court records say 18-year-old Angelina Hicks is being charged with conspiring to commit murder.
The FBI says they received tips that Hicks was plotting with two men to attack the Congregation Beth Israel in Houston, and that agents found evidence she was” planning a mass-casualty event” in 2028. Her father says Hick’s arrest stems from “playing some fantasy game on the internet,” and claims “she’s no threat to anyone.” Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 13th in North Carolina.
