The National Weather Service says some isolated severe thunderstorms may move into South Texas later today. Hail, damaging wind and heavy rain may accompany any storms that move into the area tonight and early Wednesday.

The highest risk will likely be north and west of Rio Grande City. Forecasters are also predicting some locally heavy rainfall over the next few days, with a risk of isolated flash flooding through Saturday.
