A 19-year-old North Texas woman is dead after being involved in a car crash while driving home from college on Friday. Courteney Hodge had just completed her freshman year at Louisiana State University.
Police say the accident happened along Louisiana Highway 190 in Opelousas. Investigators say Hodge’s car failed to slow down and collided with the back of a semi-truck as it approached a crossover. Hodge graduated from Red Oak High School last year.
