Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard James Harden is facing a weapons charge in Texas. Court records show Harden was arreted and charged with misdemeanor unlawful carrying of weapons after a traffic stop in Houston early Saturday.
A charging document states that Harden was taken into custody after an officer observed a handgun in plain view inside his vehicle. Harden was later released and ordered to refrain from possessing any weapons and from consuming alcohol or drugs and must submit to random urine tests. He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this year after stints with the L.A. Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets.
