A man is in custody after allegedly killing his neighbor in Rio Grande City. First responders were called to the intersection of San Benito and Avasolo streets around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The suspect, identified as Jose Luis Falcon, fired several shots at his neighbor after an argument. The unidentified neighbor died after he was taken to the hospital.
The Texas Rangers will lead the investigation because the suspect is reportedly related to a city police officer.
