The City of Mission and the Mission Economic Development Corporation announced the sale of the Cimarron Country Club on Friday.

The investors include individuals from Mexico who are experts in country club management and professional golfer Abraham Ancer, a local graduate who has played on the PGA and LIV golf tours.

Plans include the revitalization of the course, the clubhouse, pool and other facilities.  The refurbished Cimarron Country Club might open in 18 to 24 months.
