By State and local leaders will join the Jewish Federation of San Antonio today at a news conference to call for the cancellation of Ye’s upcoming concert at the Alamodome.
In attendance will be Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones, Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai, and County Commissioner Grant Moody. Jones said on social media over the weekend that the former Kanye West’s show on July 4th should be canceled because of his history of antisemitic remarks. Jones says canceling the show at the city-owned Alamodome would take a city council vote.
