A woman has been sentenced to five years of probation for abducting her daughter from South Padre Island in 2024.
Lillian Maria Crouch left the U.S. with her daughter Rilee during a custody dispute and was found when she tried to use fake identity documents to enter Turkey.
The mother and daughter were brought back to the U.S., where Crouch was charged with interference with child custody. She pleaded guilty to that charge earlier this month.
