At least two South Texas families can now claim to have children born on the Fourth of July.

South Texas Health System McAllen says a baby named Olivia was born at 9:41 a.m. on Saturday. STHS Edinburg reported the birth of a baby named Carlos just after 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Hospital officials say Olivia arrived about three days early, while Carlos was about three weeks ahead of schedule.
