An 80-year-old man is facing charges after drugs were discovered during an inspection at the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint.

Officers stopped a white truck at the checkpoint last Wednesday. The truck was referred for a secondary inspection, and 134 packages of suspected cocaine were found in a hidden compartment.

The drugs weighed more than 345 pounds. Luke David Brader and his wife Susan were both charged with possession with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine.
