A Dallas police officer is recovering after his involvement in a crash on Highway 67. The accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. on the freeway near Wheatland Road.
The officer was conducting a traffic stop when a passing car reportedly hit the police SUV, causing the car to flip onto its side. The officer and the other driver were both taken to the hospital.
The officer suffered minor injuries, but the condition of the driver is unknown. No word yet as to whether the driver will face charges
