Democratic U.S. Senate nominee James Talarico is making a campaign trip through the Rio Grande Valley this week.

Talarico said walls make sense in more populated areas, but not in the Big Bend area. He faces Republican candidate Ken Paxton in the November 3rd election. Paxton plans to hold a rally in McAllen today.
