By Mission’s mayor is running for re-election. Mayor Norie Gonzalez Garza officially announced her re-election campaign this week.
Garza became Mission’s first female mayor when she was elected in 2022. She was first elected to the city council in 2007, and served as the city’s mayor pro tem from 2012 to 2020.
Garza plans to campaign on a platform that calls for responsible growth, infrastructure investment, economic development and the delivery of exceptional city services.
