Lindsay Clancy is getting support from her former nanny in her Massachusetts murder trial. Clancy has admitted to killing her three young children, and is pleading not guilty to first-degree murder on the grounds that postpartum psychosis made her not criminally responsible.

In day seven of her trial, her former nanny testified that Clancy was a loving mother, and her three children appeared happy and well cared for. She said Clancy told her she was struggling with postpartum issues and had trouble sleeping, but that she never worried about the children’s safety. The jury is due back in court this morning.
