Governor Abbott is encouraging South Texas shoppers to take advantage of this year’s back-to-school tax-free weekend. Abbott was in Alamo to promote the annual event yesterday.
Abbott said shoppers can save up to eight percent on items like school supplies, clothing and shoes. The tax holiday begins today and continues through Sunday.
