The favorite to win Wisconsin’s Democratic primary for state governor has lost in an upset.

Democratic socialist Francesca Hong was favored to win Tuesday’s race, but multiple outlets are now projecting that she has been narrowly defeated by moderate Democrat David Crowley, who will now face Republican Tom Tiffany in the November general election.

In Minnesota, it’s Senator Amy Klobuchar who will win the Democratic primary to replace Tim Walz as governor. Klobuchar is one of four senators who ran for governor in their states this year.
