Dallas City Council is adding a public safety proposition to the November ballot. The proposed 443-million-dollar bond issue would cover the cost of building a new Dallas Police gun range.

Plans include a simulated training village and an emergency vehicle operation course near the Dallas Executive Airport. The proposal would also move 9-1-1 and emergency center operations out of the Dallas City Hall basement, and would pay for a new Dallas police property room and evidence storage facility.
