Two U.S. soldiers are dead after a military helicopter from Fort Hood crashed north of Austin on Wednesday afternoon.

The U.S. Army says the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter went down near the town of Salado. The crash caused a grass fire in the nearby area that grew to about 155 acres.

So far the cause of the crash is under investigation. The names of the two soldiers haven’t been released.
