Two county judges are making a friendly wager on the outcome of the UTRGV-UTSA football game. Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez says he will wear UTSA gear at the next Commissioners Court meeting if the Vaqueros lose this Saturday.
Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai has agreed to wear UTRGV gear to a Commissioners Court meeting if UTSA loses. Cortez called the wager “956 vs 210,” and said he fully expects Sakai to make room in his closet for some UTRGV gear.
