By The Mission Economic Development Corporation will soon be losing its CEO. Teclo Garcia announced this week that he will be leaving the position on September 11th. He became eligible for retirement after working 19 years for cities like McAllen, Laredo and Mission.
Garcia said he is retiring from municipal work, but will explore opportunities in the private sector after a few weeks off.
