A man has died after a Friday crash north of Palmview. The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash happened just before 2 p.m. in the area of Texan Road and Five Mile Line.
Initial reports indicate a Ford F-250 ran through a stop sign, hitting a Kia Optima and a FedEx delivery vehicle. The driver of the Kia, 68-year-old Ruben Molina Barron of Penitas, died at the scene.
Two people inside the Ford were taken to the hospital for treatment, while the FedEx driver did not require transport. DPS is still investigating the crash.
