Former Trump administration national security adviser John Bolton pleaded not guilty to federal charges today. Bolton was indicted yesterday on federal charges related to alleged mishandling of classified documents. He surrendered to federal authorities in Maryland this morning.

A vocal critic of Trump, Bolton says that the indictment is politically motivated. His Maryland home and DC office were searched by FBI agents in August. A trial date has not been set.
